-Dangerous decibals

Today, our class had a class session from a teacher named Tony. It was about decibals, which was the vibration that can also be used as a unit in the rate of sound level.

It was very interesting to see and experience new different sound effects and to gain information about decibals. I also learnt about a scientific device that can be utilized to study sound. It was called tuning fork.

The tuning fork is a useful implement that vibrates from the shock theat it receives as it has and an impact on a a flat solid object. It can hurt someone's ear, their teeth and even there glasses with there tremendous vibrations.

This has been a very good and helpful lesson for me, because it made me more aware of the environmental sounds that I hear in daily life.

Excellence in the Arts - Rimu homework challenges

E1. Learn an instrument or craft or join a dance school/team during the year.

Recently, this year I managed to get into an orchestra team consisting of string instrumnents, such as violins and cellos. I have been in it for a few weaks until now. I'm quite enjoying the orchestra team. We're learning numerous songs. Some of them are very emotive and some are advanced.

I think being in this orchestra will help me a lot with my violin playing skills, and give me an opportunity to play music in an amazing orchestra team. I'm very proud of myself for getting into this school orchestra group.
