Swimming sports day recount
On Tuesday, Our house had a swimming sports day. First, we hiked down to the memorial pool. Our classteacher Ms Mills was driving her car down there with us and she took several photos of us, too. On the left is one of the photos. To me, the path seemed very long and exhausting!
Finally, when we arrived there, we got changed and our house teachers instructed us what to do at the swimming pools and not to do.After that, we started our swimming competitions!
freestyle, and butterfly. Also, I did pretty well
in some strokes, that I got selected
for Rm 41`s class relay team. So I got to
swim 50m freestyle in the end of the day.
It was so awesome, because people
cheered a lot at us, and I did my very best!

Monday tech - music
Today, on Monday, we first learned how to play guitar, keyboard, and ukelele. We learnt how to play several songs and Mrs Storey our music tech teacher helped us when we got stuck. Playing the keyboard was quite easy, because the chords were quite basic. However after playing the Guitar, the Ukelele felt quite uneasy to play and extremely small. But it was an amazing music session.
Tuesday tech - music
Today, on Tuesday our group we learnt how to play chords on a guitar, keyboards, and the ukelele, more fluently. Luckily, our music tech teacher, Mrs Storey corrected our chords, and played us some beautiful music. Also, Mrs Storey taught us several songs on the ukelele, and it was awesome.
Wednesday tech - music
Today, on Wednesday, we learnt how to play some songs with the chords. Also, Mrs Storey tested us on several chords. Finally, the best thing we did however, was garage band. On garageband, where we have to make songs with computer programming, we made a jingle (a jingle is a short songthat is usually used to advertise products. So, we had to make a jingle for a milky bar! Later, we got to play the jingle from each group, and I bet ours was quite funny.
Thursday tech - music
Today, on Thursday, on the last day of the four music sessions, we played Guitar, keyboard, and Ukelele as usual. However, at last, we got our music assessment from the tests that Mrs Storey did on us, on the chords. The highlight in all my music sessions was that in the whole music class I was the only person who got advanced in playing the keyboard!

45 min inquiry
Why don`t we want these animals on the NZ bush?
- Possums -
Possums come from Australia and is native to it. However, and surprisingly, they are not in New Zealand, and is considered harmful to the nature. Also they`re a great threat to the native NZ bushes.
Firstly, possums invade the native NZ animal`s habitats, especially the native birds. They fight over foods, and feed on the birds. They also destroy the native bushhes because the eat the fruits from the trees and the plants, which is NZ`s pride.
Secondly, Possums can interfere in the natural food supplies for some other animals, like bats, lizards and even insects.
Finally, there is no particular natural predator that preys on possums so their populations have been dramatically increasing and ruin the native bushes.
